Abstract In this paper I will define what a good marketing mix requires and describe how a company uses this process to market their product. I have chosen Anytime Fitness as my company to do my paper on. Anytime Fitness is a unique style of fitness club that is in a very competitive market place. Their marketing mix focuses on all of the four Ps to attract customers. They locate small neighborhood clubs close to where people live and work. They are a no frills workout center that offers weights and cardio equipment. This allows people with busy lifestyles to workout whenever they have time. Anytime Fitness also offers a very good pricing plan for individuals and families. The best price for the product or service is a more accurate statement. I have one fitness club that charges eighty dollars a month per member. They offer a product that is more than just a workout center. I do not know all what they offer but it appears they offer activities for the kids, rock climbing classes and basically just a place to relax. So for some people the eighty-dollar price tag is a good deal. The gym I was formally a member of offered all different types of group workout type classes and individual trainers. They also had a smoothie bar, a large locker area with a sauna. The price there was forty-five dollars a month. This was a good price point for what was offered. Anytime Fitness price is only thirty-five dollars per month but as I have described earlier this club just offers a basic workout facility. PromotionWhen planning a promotion you have to also have planned a budget for your promotions. Publicity and public relations are also part of the promotions part of a good marketing mix. Anytime Fitness is not only the largest fitness club but also the fastest growing, fitness club franchise in the world. They nearly doubled in size from 308 to 604 clubs in 2007. She, who was just an infant then, was adopted and brought up by the  Sevak  Sangh, a  Gandhian  institution, as a foster-daughter to Gandhi. Sriram  and  Bharathi  happen to fall in love with each other. It is they who wait for the Mahatma at the  Birla  Mandir  in  New Delhi  to obtain his final consent for their marriage.Thus  WFM  is actually the love story ofSriram  and  Bharathi  told against the background of the  Gandhian  decades of  India’s struggle for freedom. It also tells how  Sriram’s  love for  Bharathi  sustains him throughout the ups and downs of his life since his joining the freedom struggle. The next major problem for him is one of balancing properly the  Sriram-Bharathi  motif and the Gandhi motif in the novel. It is a commonplace that  Narayan  as novelist is almost invariably interested in people who are average and ordinary and in studying their relationships.That is at once the strength as well as the limitation of his art. Sriram  and  Bharathi  of  WFM  are of this kind. The problem for the novelist is, what particular aspects of Gandhi’s life and person  should he  include in the novel to be at once historically authentic and aesthetically consistent with the rest of the novel. Gandhi was not only â€Å"a giant among men†, as  Radhakrishan  described him, but in the eyes of the millions of his countrymen a saint, a Mahatma, a living legend, inspiring veneration and worship.When such a character as this is introduced into the novel, inevitably he overshadows and dwarfs all the others in it, resulting in a thorough imbalance of interests. What is worse, it may even result in huddling together the sublime and the ridiculous. In spite of  Narayan’s  carefully devised strategy,  WFM  has not been able to escape wholly these lapses. Yet another problem confronting  Narayan, one peculiar to him, is the necessity of having to bring into the novel in a good measure the political developments of the  Gandhian  decades, although, to be sure, Gandhi was no mere politician.For, as  a  writer of  fiction  Narayan’s  interest in politics and political  ideologies has always been minimal. He himself has testified more tha n once that politics do not interest him as a creative writer. His studied avoidance of current politics as major themes in his fiction has given room for some dissatisfaction with his work as well as misunderstanding of it. But  Narayan  is neither blind nor indifferent to political happenings. The several incidental references to them in his works, early and late, demonstrate how observant he is.However, it is a matter of his artistic temperament that the vicissitudes of politics, which are ephemeral, do not engage his attention as much as the processes of life do. When he has to take note of them, as in  WFM,  he takes a deliberately detached and an ironical view of them. This may very well be one of  the reasons forNarayan’s  rather belated use of the  Gandhian  theme; long after novelists like  Mulk  Raj  Anand  and Raja Rao, contemporaneous with him, had used it even in the ’Thirties. To steer clear of  these hurdles  Narayan  has had to devise for  WFM  a narrative strategy consistent with his own artistic temper and intention. What he does is to focus attention mainly on the humane qualities of Gandhi, which had enthroned him in the hearts of his countrymen, in spite of his towering far, far above them in other respects. This device enables the novelist to avoid any detailed discussion, debate or elaboration of the politics of the day, which Gandhi guided. Health service delivery is inadequate, inaccessible and unaffordable for such a large population due to human and financial resource constraints and unequal allocation of available resources. KEY PRIORITY AREAS The key priority areas identified based on the assessment information for health plan are: 1) Food Security and Nutrition Food shortage and malnutrition are common problems during and after emergencies. Food shortage occurs mainly due to unexpected substantial decline in food availability and accessibility (Korf, 2002, Jean, 1999). In the current scenario, despite of good climate and rainfall suitable for fairly good amount of food crop production, food shortage and malnutrition are most prevalent due to urbanisation, socio-economic reforms, civil conflict and natural calamities like flood and famine (Messer, 2001). It has been proved by various researches that prevalence of malnutrition is much higher among these people as compared to common population. Protein Energy Malnutrition and micronutrient deficiency are commonly identified nutritional problems which are major cause of increased morbidity and mortality in these situations and similar pattern is observed in Beravania also (Jean, 1999). Improving the nutritional status has a positive impact on health status, resistance to disease and psycho-social well being which justifies it to be on the priority list. 2) Health Service Strengthening Post emergency period is most convenient for improving the healthcare services that has been ruined by the catastrophes. Healthcare is a basic necessity and so during emergency main focus is on quantity of health service provision while in post emergency adequate health service provision and strengthening is important to be considered. Health services established during emergency phase can be reoriented, restructured and reinforced based on needs assessment (Alonso, 2006). In the post emergency phase healthcare programmes requiring stable circumstances with long term treatment and follow-up such as T.B, HIV, Mental health and maternal and child health programmes can be restructured and implemented effectively (Kruk et al., 2010). Community health services can also be reorganised. 3) Communicable Disease Control There is an increased risk of epidemic of communicable diseases even in the post emergencies period. Some of the common contributing risk factors are deprivation of basic needs such as food, clean drinkable water, healthcare as well as increased risk due to deficiency of nutrition and immunity, lack of shelter, sanitation and hygiene.   Communicable diseases are primary cause of disease related morbidity and mortality during these situations. Most prevalent communicable diseases during this situation are diarrhoeal disease, acute respiratory infections, T.B, HIV and malaria (Speigel, 2004). Similar condition is observed in Beravania in the post emergency phase. Hence it requires an immediate attention. 4) Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Water is the basic necessity that is impacted severely during emergencies and even in post emergencies if problem is not resolved by long term sustainable alternatives. â€Å"Water and environment plays a major role in spread of communicable diseases and epidemics† (Jean, 1999). In Beravania in-spite of having good rainfall it is facing scarcity of clean drinking water and also spread of diarrhoeal disease which is one of the leading causes of child morbidity and mortality post emergency.
